Greg Maddux(12-6) and Pedro Martinez(8-10) treated the Langley fans to a fine
pitching duel at the ballpark. The streaking California Gangsta Luv
eventually emerged as victors over the struggling Langley Farm Team by the
score of 3 to 1.
California went ahead for good in the top of the 3rd inning scoring a single
run. California had just 5 hits for the afternoon.
Maddux got help from Dave Burba who was credited with his 7th save.
California continued their winning ways, with their streak now at 7 games and
counting. 'Everything seems to be going right for us' said Alan Dyche. 'I've
got the easiest job in the league right now!'
